(A Manifesto for Divine Ambition)
If man was created in God’s image, then I can testify about myself:
My good intentions are open to interpretation.
But one thing is clear — I have intentions. And they’re about me.
You might call them interests. I call them clarity.
He blessed creation with fertility, and man — with dominion.
“Subdue the earth,” He said. Rule it.
That takes audacity.
Not arrogance — clarity.
To rule with humility is not to avoid power, but to carry it without cruelty.
If you’ve conquered, you are a ruler.
You are carrying out the will of the Creator.
Unless you flee from it.
The same reason natural laws govern creation in His name.
Don’t be afraid you’re stealing.
Nothing belongs to man — everything belongs to the One who made it.
David did not steal the kingdom from Saul.
He didn’t flee from the crown either.
He knew his worth. He knew what he wanted.
I want to reign over what people mistakenly call “creation.”
This isn’t real creation. It’s just craftsmanship —
working with tools the Creator already made.
Every word that leaves my mouth
was already spoken,
already sustained,
eternally alive.
